Prima Teil

Der Adapter funktioniert wunderbar. Als ich ihn das erste Mal benutzt hatte (Kamera XG8, Objektiv Nikon 70-200 f2,8), glaubte ich an ein "Schärfeproblem". Als ich die Fotos später am Rechner betrachtete, war ich fasziniert, wie sauber der Autofokus gepasst hat. Großartig!

AF-S funktionieren gut, AF-P funktioniert nicht, HSM nur teilweise

Ich habe bisher folgende AF-S Objektive am NF-M1 und der Olympus OM-D E-M5 bzgl. des Einzelautofokus ausprobiert:
50mm/f1.4, 35mm/f1.8, 85mm/f1.8, 18-200 VR

Das AF-P 18-55 DX VR funktioniert nicht am NF-M1!

Funktionierende Sigma HSM (alle ohne OS):
150mm/f2.8 APO DG Macro, 70-200mm/f2.8 APO DG Macro, 100-300mm/f4 APO EX DG (letzte Serie).
Problem bei allen Sigma HSM:
Manchmal muss dem NF-M1-Autofokus auf die Sprünge geholfen werden, indem mit dem Fokusring des jeweiligen Objektives manuell grob vorfokussiert werden muss. Wahrscheinlich ist der Fokusweg bei diesen Tele-Objektiven zu lang für den NF-M1 (das erinnert mich an den alten Nikon TC-16A).
Am Sigma 50-500mm/f4-6.3 (BIGMA) dagegen funktioniert der NF-M1 leider nicht.
Einige kurzbrennweitigere Sigma-HSM-Objektive (z.B. 24-70/f2.8 oder 17-35/f2.8-4) muss ich am NF-M1 noch überprüfen.

Seltsamerweise funktioniert der nikon-eigene FTZ-Adapter an dem oben erwähnten SIGMA 150mm/f2.8 APO DG Macro überhaupt nicht. Das kann der NF-M1 besser als Nikon.

Ansonsten bin ich mit dem NF-M1 ganz zufrieden, meine Erwartungen wurden in etwa erfüllt.

Leider läßt sich der NF-M1 nicht an der Olympus OM-D E-M1.1 mit angesetztem Handgriff montieren, da der Sockel des Adapters gegen den Griff stösst. Bei der im Test verwendeten E-M5 passte er soeben auch mit Handgriff. Ohne Handgriff keinerlei Probleme.

Autofocus adapter what is had to do. AF speed slightly slower but fast enough. I hope that they will activate continous focus by firmware update one day

Adapter funktioniert erwartungsgemäß.

Nach dem Firmwareupdate am Adapter funktioniert der
AF meines Nikkor AF-P 70-300 f/4.5-5.6E ED-VR an der Lumix GX9.
In der Praxis brauchte ich etwas Übung, um bei schlechter werdendem Licht mit der Wahl der ISO und des Fokusfeldes (statt Fokuspunkt) den AF greifen zu lassen. Aber bin jetzt damit sehr zufrieden und nutze es häufig.

Funktioniert, aber leider mit Schwächen

Ich habe den Viltrox NF-M1 Adapter an einer Olympus OM-D E-M1 II verwendet. Damit habe ich das Nikon AF-S Nikkor 200-500mm f5.6 E ED VR angeschlossen.
Positiv: Single AF funktioniert, Abbildungsschärfe ist sehr gut.
Negativ: Der AF Bereich wird bei jedem Aktivieren komplett von nah bis fern durchlaufen und dann wird erst scharfgestellt.
Die "Trefferquote" des AF ist nicht zufriedenstellend, bei ca. jedem 4. oder 5. Mal wird die Schärfe nicht genau getroffen.
Für meine beabsichtigte Anwendung, Tierfotogafie, hauptsächlich Vögel, teilweise auch in Bewegung, ist die Geschwindigkeit und Treffsicherheit des AF leider nicht ausreichend. Die auch vorhandene Nikon D7500 Kamera mit diesem Objektiv ist da wesentlich besser. Es war beabsichtigt, durch den höheren Cropfaktor der Olympus (2.0) gegenüber der Nikon (1.5) eine höhere Vergrößerung zu erreichen. Das ist zwar gegeben, wiegt die Nachteile aber leider nicht auf. Deshalb habe ich den Adapter wieder zurückgeschickt.
